Building, Energy, Mechanical and Technology Codes Training & Education
An increasing number of projects in Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Nebraska and Tennessee are pursuing high performance, compliance solutions due to increasingly stringent energy codes and sustainable certification and rating programs. With this, comes the use of sophisticated modeling tools to unlock the potential for projects to validate savings goals for politicians or to confirm results, often within a short time frame.
The Building Industry Training & Education (BITE) energy codes series returns this fall at events designed for the Illinois construction industry to support implementation of the 2015-2018 IECC transition, effective statewide March 1, 2019. IECC_LLC events are designed to prepare participants for the potential update of the 2018 IECC with reference to ASHRAE Standard 90.1-2016, therein. Contact IECC_LLC to participate in the full-day code updates or home builder breakfasts.
Municipal code officials, design professionals, home builders, HVAC & home performance contractors, park districts, libraries, school and township planning officials are invited to participate.
